Question of the week
Hi,
I had communicated with you earlier, and it was informative for me (3years ago)
I just want to know whether you had or have any time of muscle
weakness or hypotonia along with balance issues, tinnitus (ringing in
the ear)
i have had issues of cognitive dysfunction but they are less than the
weakness, fatigue , and discoordination and balance problems.
Can you suggest something? Anything would be great.

My answer:
Yes, some with dyslexia have a problem with the inner ear. Easily off balance, and one of the side effects of this is that you can’t hear between some letter sounds. One of the things that seem to work to help overcome this is seasick pills. Motion sickness pills, the cheaper, the better. You can also try some non-drug items that can help. Herbs like Ginger (Zingiber officinale) standardized extract, 250 mg three times daily as needed, for symptoms of nausea. Ginger is a traditional remedy, and some studies show it may help with motion sickness -- although others find it has no benefit. Peppermint (Mentha piperita) standardized extract, 1 enteric coated tablet two to three times daily as needed. You may also make a tea of the leaf. Black horehound (Ballotta nigra), 1 - 2 ml as a tincture or 1 -2 tsp. of leaves steeped as a tea, taken three times per day. This is a traditional remedy for motion sickness, but no scientific studies have been done to test the benefits.
Also, you might want to be tested for inter ear infections and try to stay away from smoking and sugars.
